Free weight areas and machine platforms concentrate load in a way offices never do, and dropped weights create impact loads the original slab was not designed for. We check the existing structure and design local strengthening or isolation where needed.

Impact from dropped weights transmits through the structure, not the air, so acoustic treatment on walls does not solve it. We design floating floor build ups and isolation details at the source, and place high impact zones away from shared walls and slabs wherever the plan allows.
