A major e-commerce operator fitting out a large distribution facility in Delhi NCR needed the base building modelled and verified before fit-out design could begin, and a fabrication-ready path from design through to as-built record.

The challenge

  • The base building needed to be modelled and verified before any fit-out design work could safely begin.
  • Fit-out design and fabrication models had to align precisely with the as-built base building, not the original design intent.
  • Laser-scan data needed to be converted into usable as-built models the fit-out team could actually work from.
  • A fast-moving commercial fit-out programme left little room for coordination errors between base build and fit-out trades.

Our approach

  • Modelled the base building and verified it against site conditions before fit-out design commenced.
  • Developed fit-out design and fabrication models coordinated to the verified base build.
  • Captured existing conditions by laser scan and converted the point-cloud data into usable as-built models.
  • Delivered fabrication-ready outputs that let fit-out trades work directly from the coordinated model.
