Mumbai, Maharashtra22,000 sqm GFAUptime Tier III

A hyperscale data centre operator building a 22,000 sqm facility in Mumbai, including 9,500 sqm of white space, needed detailed MEPF design support to reach Uptime Institute Tier III certification across a phased commissioning programme.

The challenge

  • MEPF systems needed to be designed to the precision Tier III certification demands, with no room for late rework.
  • Commissioning ran across seven levels (Levels 0 to 6), each needing MEP information ready at the right time.
  • HVAC, electrical and fire systems all had to be coordinated within a dense white-space layout.
  • Site conditions needed to be captured accurately enough to support commissioning sign-off, not just design intent.

Our approach

  • Delivered detailed MEPF design support across HVAC, electrical and fire protection systems for the full facility.
  • Structured design deliverables around the seven-level (0 to 6) commissioning programme.
  • Coordinated services within the 9,500 sqm white space to the density Tier III operations require.
  • Used point-cloud capture to verify installed conditions against design and support commissioning sign-off.
